The Local Audit & Accountability Act 2014 and the Accounts & Audit Regulations 2015 set out the responsibilities of all local councils in repsect of their accounting and audit procedures. The accounts are inspected by an internal auditor before being presented at full council for approval. The Annual Governance and Accountability Return (AGAR) for year ending 31st March 2025 is now available. Anyone who wishes to inspect them should contact the clerk for an appointment. The accounts can be inspected from Tuesday 3rd June until Monday 14th July.
