Clayton Parish Council are engaged in a number of projects.  Some of these are short-term projects to provide a specific outcome, whilst others are longer-term strategic projects to ensure services are sustained for the benefit of Clayton residents.

From April 2015, Clayton Parish Council will embark on the development of a 3-year Business Plan.  This plan will bring together ongoing and future developments, identify resourcing requirements and produce an overall Communications strategy to ensure our work is fully transparent to Clayton residents.  Ultimately, the Business Plan will underpin all the work of the Parish Council.

Clayton Library

Clayton Village Library is a much valued asset for many people within Clayton. Clayton Parish Council has ensured that the building has been registered as a Community asset and we support the ongoing use of the Library

Events in Clayton

The Parish Council now has an Events Committee who provide oversight of Parish Council events throughout the village.

Clayton in Bloom

To celebrate the joy and pride people have in making Clayton a vibrant and colourful place to live the Parish Council organise an annual Clayton in Bloom Competition.

Youth Council

Clayton Parish Council is looking to establish a Youth Council. The Youth Council will be represented by 20 members, aged 11-19 who will meet every two-months

Clayton Village Hall

Clayton Village Hall is a central focal point and centre of activities for Clayton residents. As such the Village Hall acts as the home of Clayton Parish Council who work with Clayton Community Association to ensure essential maintenance of the Village Hall is undertaken.

Dickensian Market

Clayton Parish Council works with the Dickensian Committee and provides financial support to the popular Dickensian Market each December.
