Met Office warn of more snow to come

IMG_0522The Met Office has issued warnings of more snow over the coming days as temperature are due to plummet.  It is very likely that Clayton will have temperatures of -5 over the coming days.  Although gritters have been out to clear the roads, driving conditions remain hazardous across parts of Clayton.

The Telegraph and Argus reported news of a bus getting in parts of Bradford as a result of icy conditions.

The NHS Choices website has useful information about keeping fit and healthy over the winter months.  Due to winter pressure on the NHS it would be advisable to first contact NHS 111, by calling 111, to seek any medical or health advice.

Please take extra care and look out for neighbours and relatives during the cold period.
