Police Liaison Working Group

The Police Liaison meetings are held periodically throughout the year and are used as a forum to formally exchange two-way communications between local residents and the Police.

The local priorities for Clayton are to tackle anti-social behavior including street drinking, criminal damage and drug misuse on an evening.

The local police are aware of the ‘hot-spots’ and carry out routine daily patrols in vehicles and on foot within specific areas. The Police also work very closely with the Bradford District Anti-Social Behaviour Team to combat these problems.

Why not join a local Neighbourhood Watch Scheme. Lots of insurance companies now provide discounts for residents who are part of a local scheme.  Take a look at the Neighbourhood Watch website for further information.

Future Meeting Dates

The Police Liaison meetings take place on a bi-monthly basis.  The dates coincide with the full Parish Council Meetings commencing at 6:30pm.     All members of the public are invited to attend either to find out what is happening in the Clayton area or to raise any issues or concerns directly with the police.

Please note:  All meeting take place at Clayton Village Hall and commence at 6:30pm until 7:00pm.  Full Parish Council meetings commence at 7:00pm prompt.
