I was co-opted to the parish council in July 2014 and elected from May 2015. I am currently a member of the council's staffing committee and Business Planning working group. I was elected as Chairman to the Parish Council on Thursday 18th January 2018

Whilst studying at Bradford University, I established my own education support services company, which I ran for 8 years, working for local authorities, primary, secondary and independent schools.  I now work at Bingley Grammar School as Associate Assistant Headteacher for Data & IT.

I have served as a Primary and Academy School governor at schools in Shipley and Otley. I am actively involved in improving public transport and for the last 8 years I have been the Chair of the Bradford Rail Users Group.

I undertake a large number of media appearances in print, on radio, TV and online contributing to my campaign work for the railways and local politics.

Unlike the District council, the parish council collects over 90% of its revenue from local residents. As a councillor, I want to ensure that all parts of the parish benefit from our activities, and that we always act in an especially prudent manner with public funds.
