Committees

To ensure the most effective management of Parish Council business a number of Committees and Sub-groups have been established to oversee the work on behalf of the full Parish Council.

The operation sub-groups are responsible for the detailed work and delivery of objectives in accordance with the Terms of Services.  Each Committee or Sub-group is held to account by the full Parish Council.  As such an overview report is provided at each full Parish Council meeting by the chair of each sub-group.  Come along to our next full Parish Council meeting to find out what's happening across Clayton.

Internal Control (Finance) Committee

To ensure that all governance and financial regulations of the parish council are followed in accordance with Standing Financial Instructions.

To review planning applications from local residents and advise Bradford Metropolitan of Parish Council opinion.
