Clayton Community Choir raise the Village Hall at Clayton in Bloom 2015

Great afternoon at the Village Hall to announce the results of Clayton in Bloom 2015.

Clayton Community choir started things off with a selection of musical numbers which was really well received. Following the awards a strawberry cream tea was served. It was great to see so many people attend and a great day was enjoyed by all.

The results of the awards are as follows:

Best Hanging Basket

Winner: Terry and Gillian Cooney from The Fleece

Runner Up: Kevin Appleyard

Best Back Garden

Winner: Jean Butterfield

Runner up: Margaret Mitchell

Best Garden

Winner: Brendan Harney

Runner up: Kevin Appleyard

Special mention to those who’s gardens were highly commended:

Simon Douglas & Amanda Harris, Susan Hepton, Irene Alderton, Martin Riggs, Maxine Summers, Celene Hammond, Mr & Mrs Cotterill

Garden vouchers were awarded to all along with a certificate.

Well done to all those that entered watch out for next year’s event.
