St.John’s Church, Clayton walking club

SJC Walking Club

Bolton Abbey is the chosen destination for SJC Walkers first outing on Sunday 8th February. It provides wheelchair and buggy access. There are toilet and cafe facilities too, so whether you want to walk up to Barden Bridge and back or meander to The Strid then sit in the cafe it really is your choice. Parking is  £7 per car so please do share cars and cost where possible. Either meet at SJC @ 1pm or meet by the Pavilion (parking at Sandholme, which means no roads to cross with kiddies) with a view to walking at 2pm. Dogs must be on leads. Pint in the pub on the way home. They recommend The Flying Duck, Church St, Ikley. Real ale pub run by local Wharfedale brewery. If there’s a mountian of now they will will simply set off from SJC taking in the local scenery. Further info contact the office 01274 883000.

All welcome
