Queen’s 90th Birthday Celebrations

Picnic in the Park

The Parish council warmly invites everyone to an afternoon of family fun and entertainment to celebrate Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth's 90th birthday.  Bring along a picnic (and something to sit on) and join us in Victoria Park on Saturday 11th June from 1pm until 3pm.  There will be plenty of activites for everyone, including bouncy castle, facepainting, hook-a-duck, refreshments and much more.... All welcome

Please note, due to health and safety, barbecues will not be permitted (including the disposable type).



Update from Parish Council Meeting – May 2016

Appointment of new council officers

On Thursday 19th May the first full Parish Council meeting of the new financial year met at the Village Hall.  The routine agenda for this inaugural meeting requires the appointment of a new Chairman and Vice-Chairman.  The council is pleased to report that Cllr Chris Kaushal-Bolland was elected as Chairman and Cllr James Vasey was elected as Vice-Chairman .

In addition, appointments were made to select Councillors to participate in various Committees and Working Groups.
