Report a crime online

Following the recent Police Liaison Meeting PC David Bates answered questions about local issues, in particular a spate of recent burglaries and the ongoing issue of speeding vehicles and motorbikes. Local residents expressed their frustration at having to wait on hold when using the 101 number to report non-emergency issues. After great discussions and sharing of detailed information PC Bates suggested that local residents should be encouraged to use the West Yorkshire CrimeOnline system to report local issues.

Queen’s 90th Birthday celebrations – A great success

Picnic in the Park - A great success

On Saturday 11th June, Clayton Parish Council hosted a Picnic in the Park to celebrate Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth's 90th birthday.  A huge thank you to everyone who came along and had a wonderful afternoon of fun and entertainment.  We may have required our Wellington boots but we didn't allow the wet weather to dampen our spirits our enthusiasm.  It was delightful to listen to the wonderful voices of Clayton Community Choir directed by Rowan Russell and Clayton Village Woman's Institute have reported that they raised over £350.00.

Please do provide us with your feedback and view the photos of the event on the Parish Council Facebook page.
