Great Northern Railway Trail Volunteers were awarded £200 Grant Aid at the Parish Council meeting on 17th March 2016.  The funding will be used towards the purchase of three information boards for display on the Great Northern Railway Trail at the Queensbury triangle.

This is popular walking, riding, running and cycling route that links Clayton, Queensbury and Thornton.  The information boards will provide historical information about the area when the railway was full of busy bustling engines.

Further information on local routes can be found on the Sustrans website.
