Update from Parish Council Meeting – May 2016

Appointment of new council officers

On Thursday 19th May the first full Parish Council meeting of the new financial year met at the Village Hall.  The routine agenda for this inaugural meeting requires the appointment of a new Chairman and Vice-Chairman.  The council is pleased to report that Cllr Chris Kaushal-Bolland was elected as Chairman and Cllr James Vasey was elected as Vice-Chairman .

In addition, appointments were made to select Councillors to participate in various Committees and Working Groups.  

Becoming a Parish Councillor

Annual Parish Meeting

Annual Parish Meeting 2015/16

The Annual Parish Meeting will take place on Thursday 11th May 2017.  This is a meeting of the Parish to review progress of the past year.  The meeting will be chaired by the Parish Council Chairman, Cllr Christopher Kaushal-Bolland and will also cover the past 12-months financial expenditure, debate any local issues that residents choose to raise and celebrate the success of local achievements.

This event is an excellent opportunity for community engagement and all residents are invited to submit any matters for inclusion on the Agenda to the Parish Clerk by email.

Come along and listen to a full year in review by Cllr Kaushal-Bolland on Thursday 11th May 2017 at Clayton Village Hall commencing at 6:00pm.
